Trim audio to an exact selection

Open locally decodable audio and choose the part you want as a fresh PCM WAV.

Load a source

Choose or drop WAV, MP3, M4A or another audio format your browser actually decodes. Extensions are not proof of codec support. Decode failures preserve other sources. The display reports decoded working sample rate, duration, channels and PCM memory. Known WAV rates up to 48 kHz are preserved; higher-rate WAV and other codecs are decoded at up to 48 kHz.

Choose boundaries

Enter in/out seconds and Apply selection, or use exact In sample / Out sample fields. Times round with Math.round(seconds × decoded rate); selection is [in,out), with out exclusive. Click the waveform to seek, use left/right for 0.01 s steps (Shift 0.1 s), I/O to set boundaries, and Space to play/stop the source selection. Zoom and pan change only the view.

Review the processed output

Source selection playback is unprocessed. Prepare WAV applies the edits, shows actual peak/clipping/frame count/file size, and provides the encoded output player. Download explicitly after listening. Audio decoding and rate conversion change compressed audio; this is not a lossless MP3 edit.
